Adding a personal message, initials or a date can be the perfect way to turn an everyday gift into a special present and treasured keep sake.
To help with your decision to add an engraving or if you have questions, please find below a list of commonly asked questions with answers about our personalisation service.
I can’t see where to enter my engraving requirements?
If your gift can be engraved then you should see ‘Engraving’ listed in the product buying options section. Simply click Yes next to the word Engraving and some options will appear to enter your instructions.
Where can I add my message?
Depending on the product you have chosen you will at least be able to engrave on either the FRONT or BACK. For some gifts you can engrave both the FRONT and BACK.
It is also possible to choose how your text is aligned in the engraving space; either aligned to the LEFT, CENTRE or RIGHT.
What Fonts can I choose from?
There is a choice of 3 fonts: Roman, Vanessa or Script. Hover your mouse over the each of these to preview how the alphabet and numbers will appear in each font (dependent on website capability)
How long can my message be?
This depends on the size of your chosen product and the engraving space. The maximum number of lines and maximum number of characters per line is shown under each box where you can enter your chosen message.
There isn’t enough space for my message!?
If your heart is absolutely set on a particular message which doesn’t fit within the maximum line and character limit then please get in touch. The engraving limits have been set in order to optimise the appearance of messages on each product and we can’t promise we will be able to accommodate your chosen message but we will try!
Do you charge depending on the length of the message?
No. We charge a flat fee of £6 for a single engraving (Front or Back only) or £10 for a double engraving (Front and Back).
What if I want a logo, picture or monogram?
Please send us an email and attach an image of your design and include details of the product you would like the engraving to appear on. Please bear in mind that there is an additional charge of £30 for this service in order to cover the design costs to convert your image into an engravable image.
